Measure out your dry ingredients and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and honey.

Melt together the butter and the vegetable oil in a microwave-safe container.

Add the milk and the butter mixture to the mixing bowl and whisk together.

Sift the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, feel free to tip in any bran that gets caught in your sifter/ strainer.

Whisk together until just combined and set aside.

Heat a full size waffle maker on medium. When heated, add a half cup of batter to the middle of the waffle maker.

Cook waffle for about 5 minutes and then remove from the waffle maker

Repeat until you run out of batter, this recipe makes about 6 large waffles.
